1640- Charles needs money to find bishops. He recalls parliament but they refuse to give him money. The "short" parliament was dissolved after 3 weeks.
1641- The parliament presents the grand remonstrance which shows the opposite of Charles' actions and policies to remove the ministers who were chosen. Charles tries to ignore it
